Joe and I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a joyous New Year. We are heading off Wednesday to visit our family in Lehigh Acres and will be back Thursday afternoon. Join us Christmas Eve for our Praise Noels Cantata and candlelight communion service at 6:00 p.m. Hope to see you there.
Open House
Joe and I would like to invite you to our annual open house at the parsonage on New Year's Eve from 6:00 p.m. until...... You may bring finger foods if you like or just bring yourself. The parsonage is located at 1129 Bulevar de Palmas. Take Sombrero Beach Road to the beach. Turn right onto Avenida Premceria (street before first speed bump at beach). Go to the first street to the left - Camino del Vientos. Go to the dead end at Bulevar de Palmas. Turn right. Parsonage is the first house on the right.
Really willing?
I like the New Living Translation of the Bible as an additional study aid. It can bring clarity and a new perspective especially to very familiar passages. Luke 1:38 in the NLT says," I am the Lord's servant and I am willing to accept whatever he wants. May everything you have said come true." As I pondered this verse this morning I thought about all of the changes that God has brought about in my life after I made a similar statement when I surrendered to the call to ministry.
